VIDEO: Amazing Horse Jumping And Freestyle

Up for some galloping action and a thrilling ride? Here’s a dose of some stunning performance caught on video from Aberaeron Festival of Welsh Ponies & Cobs. First-class horses highly trained in jumping stunts… spectacular horses with some superstar attitude and performance to boot. All of them are featured in this video by Jon Siddall with their riders.

Look at how these horses jump over obstacles, turn to ridiculously tight corners, and canter across the field. A spectacular view we must admit. These horses sure do have some wicked competitive spirit and trust to their riders for them to perform an array of terrific acts such as those in this video. Surely anyone without specialist knowledge about horses and horsemanship will delight in witnessing how these horses ignite their paths with great speed, skill, and grace.

But the riders can’t just leave the show to their horses. They executed a variety of flawless trick riding (some acts are even rendered in slowmo in the video for a more dramatic feel). One slid off the side of her bolting horse, hanging upside down while attached to a strap, and soon got back sitting on her horse normally while the audience gasped for a heart-stopping moment. Another rider stood straight on a running horse. And if standing on one horse doesn’t satisfy you yet, two more riders gave it a go to stand straight atop a pair of horses, with a foot on each horse.

Riding skill such as this requires years of training, willingness to go the extra mile, and having trustworthy, athletic horses as their partners.
